2-Part Practice Group | 2-hour Workshops
- Cohort 1: Tuesday, June 17th & Tuesday, June 24th
- Cohort 2: Thursday, July 17th & Sunday, July 20th
- Cohort 3: Friday, August 22nd & Friday, August 29th
Over two spacious sessions each cohort, this group will be a space to explore how we can cultivate fortitude and resilience for engaging on social media, bringing empathy to our online interactions.
Who this session is for:
So many of us are reactive and hopeless right now, yearning for constructive compassionate dialogue in this often-polarized digital landscape. We are bereft and longing for empathy and understanding.
We are overwhelmed—caught between wanting to speak up and protect our mental health when we witness and/or experience harm. We long for meaningful connection and transformation as well as protecting our peace.
If you’ve ever felt drained by online conversations or unsure how to maintain your boundaries while still showing up with empathy, this session is for you.
What to expect:
Through the lens of Direct Compassionate Communication (rooted in the principles of Nonviolent Communication), we’ll focus on practices that support emotional regulation, self-connection, and compassionate (boundaried!) engagement online. You’ll gain tools to navigate social media with confidence and clarity—responding from a grounded place rather than reacting from stress, fear, and frustration.
Real examples and interactive exercises will help you embody these practices, offering guidance on how to hold empathy and curiosity for yourself and others.
